Internal Audit and Compliance

It seems like the CHS internal audit and compliance department is always on the move. In addition to being housed at various locations over the years, our professionals travel around Long Island to service all CHS entities. Although we are a small department, we offer diverse services.

The internal audit function provides objective assurance and advisory services to management intended to improve CHS operations and internal control structure. The CHS compliance function performs the day-to-day operations of the Compliance Program for CHS Corporate and CHS Services as well as provides support to the rest of CHS with their compliance programs. We provide research and guidance, perform audits and reviews, and develop system-wide compliance policies in order to comply with numerous regulations. Our goal is to have a compliance program that helps create an atmosphere of excellence and attention to legal and ethical standards.

We are currently located at 100 Baylis Road in Melville, so our move to 245 Old Country Road will not have a big impact on our daily life. Although we will now have to share the IT department with many others in our new facility, we are looking forward to reuniting with old friends and beginning new relationships with other departments.
