Catholic Health Services of Long Island will bring together, under one roof, several administrative functions at 245 Old Country Road in Melville.
The newly constructed, attractive, and modern building will become the new administrative headquarters for the following departments:
- Human Resources for Catholic Health Services of Long Island, Catholic Home Care, & Good Shepherd Hospice
- Audit & Compliance
- Information Technology
- Good Shepherd Hospice
- Patient Accounting
- Continuing Care Administration and Acute Care Administration for Suffolk County
The building's architectural design will reflect contemporary ideas for an employee-focused environment, including natural light, attractive furnishings, state-of-the-art conference and training facilities, and space for circulation and gathering, thereby creating a wonderful place to work. We hope our employees will enjoy the on-site fitness center, housing several cardio machines and free weights, as well as group fitness classes such as yoga and pilates.
Working together in a single facility will also provide a tremendous opportunity for CHS employees to collaborate like never before, with specialists in areas including finance, billing, continuing care, and information technology.
The new space, in total over 114,000 square feet, is being designed and constructed specifically for us. CHS has exclusively leased the space for the next 15 years.
